KG200Z is a LoRaWAN module from Quectel with ultra-low power consumption at the level of 1.7 μA in deep sleep mode, allowing transmission range up to 5 km in urban areas or up to 15 km outside of them. The size of 12×12 mm, low cost, and the open 868 MHz frequency make it suitable for most space-constrained PCB applications requiring LPWA technology. KG200Z is based on the STM32WLE5x chipset, the world’s first LoRa SoC from STMicroelectronics, with a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor. Thanks to the provided SDK, it is easy to implement in projects.
The module has a built-in power management unit, power amplifier, low noise amplifier, in addition, 256-bit AES encryption, providing world-class security to users. KG200Z is an ideal solution for applications such as smart meters, HVAC monitoring, smart agriculture, smart home, and waste management.
